The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
