In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 As justification or warning, 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 Till a limit known? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
