The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence; 1 And by those who gently draw out the souls of the blessed, 2 And by those who glide along (on errands of mercy), 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 And direct affairs by command, 5 A Day shall come whereon the quaking will quake, 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 On that day hearts beat painfully 8 Cast down will be (their owners') eyes. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 They shall say, 'That then were a losing return!' 12 But it will be only a single blow, 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 15 His Lord called out to him by the sacred valley of Tuwa: 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?- 18 that I might guide you to your Lord, so that you fear (Him)." 19 And he showed him the tremendous token. 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 Then he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 and gathered his people and declared: 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
