And this (Qur'an) is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware, 202 Then they will exclaim, "Could we have some respite?" 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 Seest thou? If We do let them enjoy (this life) for a few years, 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 For reminder, for We never were oppressors. 209 Not by the Satans has it been brought down; 210 they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 Then if they disobey you say to them: "I am quit of what you do." 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And thy movements among those who fall prostrate. 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets - it is the seduced who follow them. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And they say what they do not do, 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
