Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya-Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 pursuing a straight way 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
