Prayed Nooh, “O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, and they follow the one whose wealth and children increase nothing for him except ruin.” 21 They contrived a plot of great magnitude. 22 "And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';- 23 And they have led many astray. Increase Thou not the evildoers save in error!' 24 They were drowned because of their habitual sinfulness, and sent to Hell, and did not find any helper other than God. 25 And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. 26 for certainly if You should leave them (alive), they will mislead Your servants, and will beget none but sinners and utter unbelievers. 27 "O my Sustainer! Grant Thy forgiveness unto me and unto my parents, and unto everyone who enters my house as a believer, and unto all believing men and believing women [of later times]; and grant Thou that the doers of evil shall increasingly meet with destruction!" 28
