The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in columns outstretched. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
