[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ. 55 Those who are infidels will surely receive severe punishment both in this world and the next; and none will they have to help (or save) them. 56 But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers. 57 (Muhammad), what we recite to you are revelations and words of wisdom. 58 Jesus in the sight of God is like Adam. He created him from dust; then said to him, "Be!" and he was. 59 (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt. 60 And if anyone should argue with you about this [truth] after the knowledge you have received, say to them, "Come! Let us gather our sons and your sons, our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray earnestly and invoke the curse of God upon the liars. 61 Lo! This verily is the true narrative. There is no Allah save Allah, and lo! Allah, He verily is, is the Mighty, the Wise. 62 And if they turn their backs, assuredly God knows the workers of corruption. 63
