By the mount. 1 Consider [God's] revelation, inscribed 2 In an outstretched fine parchment, 3 By the House Frequented. 4 Consider the vault [of heaven] raised high! 5 and by the swelling sea, 6 Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur. 7 there is none who could avert it. 8 On the day when the heaven will heave with (awful) heaving, 9 And the mountains will pass on, departing - 10 Then woe that Day to the beliers; 11 Those who in wading sport themselves. 12 On that day they will be violently pushed into the fire 13 "This is the fire which you were wont to call a lie! 14 Is this magic or do you not see? 15 Endure the heat thereof, and whether ye are patient of it or impatient of it is all one for you. Ye are only being paid for what ye used to do. 16 Indeed the pious are in Gardens and peace. 17 Delighted at the bestowal of their Lord; and their Lord has saved them from the fire. 18 “Eat and drink with pleasure, a reward for what you used to do.” 19 Reclining on ranged couches. And we wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 20 The offspring of the believers will also follow them to Paradise. So shall We join their offspring to them because of their faith. We shall reduce nothing from their deeds. Everyone will be responsible for his own actions. 21 And We will aid them with fruit and flesh such as they desire. 22 There they will pass a goblet to one another with neither idle talk nor sin, 23 ۞ They will be waited upon by immortal youths, like pearls hidden in their shells. 24 They will converse with one another, putting questions to each other, 25 Saying, “Indeed before this, we were in our houses, worried.” 26 God has been gracious to us and has saved us from the torment of Hell's intense heat -- 27 “Indeed we used to worship Him in our previous life; indeed He only is the Benign, the Most Merciful.” 28
