۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He please, He will take you off and bring a new generation. 16 And that is not hard for Allah. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 The blind and the sighted are not equal, 19 Nor are the darknesses and the light, 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 Nor alike are the living and the dead. Verily Allah maketh whomsoever He listeth to hear and thou canst not make them hear who are in the graves. 22 Thou art naught but a warner. 23 Verily, We have sent thee with the truth, as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner: for there never was any community but a warner has [lived and] passed away in its midst. 24 And if these disbelievers deny you, those before them had also denied; their Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs and scriptures and the bright Book. 25 So We seized the unbelievers. How great was the change I wrought in their condition then! 26
