Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
