(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
