The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
