Abraham was (equal to) a nation, obedient to Allah, of pure faith and was not among the idolaters, 120 (He was) thankful for His (Allah's) Graces. He (Allah) chose him (as an intimate friend) and guided him to a Straight Path (Islamic Monotheism, neither Judaism nor Christianity). 121 We granted him virtue in this life and he shall be among the righteous ones in the life to come. 122 Then, We revealed to you: 'Follow the Creed of Abraham, he of pure faith, he was not among the idolaters' 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it, and most surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that about which they differed. 124 CALL THOU [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer's path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner - for, behold, thy Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who are the right-guided. 125 If you want to retaliate, retaliate to the same degree as the injury done to you. But if you are patient, it is better to be so. 126 Endure with patience, for your endurance is not without the help of God. Do not grieve for them, and do not be distressed by their plots. 127 God is certainly with the pious and the righteous ones. 128
