The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 and conveying [to all the world] a reminder: 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 Protecting them against every wayward devil, 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21
