See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
