Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 upon the straight path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
