Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78
