Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
