Nay, by the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 except the people of the right hand 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
