The people of Lut denied the Noble Messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 164 “What! Among all the creatures, you commit the immoral acts with men?” 165 instead of your wives, whom your Lord has created specially for you? You are a transgressing people." 166 'Lot' they replied, 'if you do not desist, you shall be thrown out' 167 He said: I am in truth of those who hate your conduct. 168 My Lord, save me and my family from their evil doings." 169 So We delivered him and his family,- all 170 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind. 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 And rained on them a shower (of Stones). How terrible was the rain (that fell) on those who had been warned! 173 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
