And yet, whoever does [the least] of righteous deeds and is a believer withal, his endeavour shall not be disowned: for, behold, We shall record it in his favour. 94 There is a ban upon any city that We have destroyed; they shall not return 95 but when Gog and Magog are let loose and swarm down from every hillside and they spread out, [leaping across every barrier of land and sea], 96 And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers." 97 They will be told, "You and what you had worshipped instead of God will be the fuel of hell". 98 Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein. 99 They will bray in it and not be able to hear anything in it. 100 But as for those unto whom already the reward most fair has gone forth from Us, 101 And they will not hear its faintest sound; and they will forever abide in whatever their hearts desire. 102 They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" - 103 On that Day We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll of parchment. As We originated the first creation, so shall We repeat it. This is a promise binding on Us. Truly, We shall fulfill it. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 Surely in this is a Message delivered unto a people who serve. 106 And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say: It is only inspired in me that your Allah is One Allah. Will ye then surrender (unto Him)? 108 Then if they turn away, say thou: I have proclaimed unto you all alike, and I know not whether nigh or far is that which ye are promised, 109 Surely He knows what is spoken aloud and He knows what you hide. 110 But [as for me,] I do not know whether, perchance, this [delay in God's judgment] is but a trial for you, and a [merciful] respite for a while." 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge in truth. Our Lord is the Merciful whose help is ever to be sought against what you describe' 112
