Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains: 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
