Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 So when thou art empty, labour, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
