“O Noble Messengers, eat good clean things, and do good deeds; I know all that you do.” 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 But leave them alone, lost in their ignorance, until a [future] time. 54 Do they fancy that Our continuing to give them wealth and children (means) that 55 We would hasten them on in every good? Nay, they do not understand. 56 Surely those who tremble in fear of their Lord 57 And they who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord, 59 who give, whatever they give in charity, with their hearts trembling at the thought that they are destined to return to their Lord; 60 These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a record which clearly shows the truth and they will not be wronged. 62 On the contrary, their hearts are in neglect of this and their works are different than those of the believers, the works that they are doing. 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 Had truth been subject to their whims the heavens and the earth and all those within them would have been depraved. In fact We had sent them their reminder, but they turned away from good advice. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are from the path deviating. 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 until We open before them a gate of harsh punishment and then they will be dumbfounded. 77
