The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 And when the stars darken, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts shall be brought together, 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 And when the pages are laid open, 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 by the night swarming, 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
