Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 They who would be seen, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
