"Behold," the angels told Mary, "God had chosen you, purified you, and given you distinction over all women. 42 So adore your Lord, O Mary, and pay homage and bow with those who bow in prayer." 43 That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. And you were not with them when they cast their pens as to which of them should be responsible for Mary. Nor were you with them when they disputed. 44 And when the angels said: 'O Mary! Allah gives you the glad tidings of a command from Him: his name shall be Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary. He shall be highly honoured in this world and in the Next, and shall be one of those near stationed to Allah. 45 He shall speak to men in the cradle, and of age, and righteous he shall be.' 46 She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me." He said: "So (it will be) for Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: "Be!" and it is. 47 “And Allah will teach him the Book and wisdom, and the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Bible).” 48 And (make him) an apostle to the children of Israel: That I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I determine for you out of dust like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird with Allah's permission and I heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah's permission and I inform you of what you should eat and what you should store in your houses; most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers. 49 And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me. 50 Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore serve Him; this is the right path. 51 ۞ When (Prophet) Jesus felt their disbelief, he said: 'Who will be my helpers in the way of Allah?' The disciples replied: 'We are the helpers of Allah. We believe in Allah. Bear witness that we are submitters (Muslims). 52 Our Lord! we believe in that which Thou hast sent down, and, follow the apostle; write us up wherefore with the witnesses. 53 But they (the unbelievers) contrived a plot, and God did the like; and God's plan is the best. 54
