The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 When Shu'eyb said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 177 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 And weigh with an even balance. 182 and do not diminish the goods of the people, and do not make mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations." 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 "You are but a human being like us and verily, we think that you are one of the liars! 186 “Therefore cause a part of the sky to fall upon us, if you are of the truthful.” 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 They rejected him and then the torment of the gloomy day struck them. It was certainly a great torment. 189 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
