Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Seen. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 on a straight path; 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
