Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
