Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
