Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 surely you are deeply at variance [as to what to believe] -- 8 though only those who are averse to the Truth will turn away from (believing in it). 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: 13 and will be told, "Suffer the torment which you wanted to experience immediately". 14 Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs (in the Paradise), 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 And also in your own selves. Behold ye not? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
