Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?" 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 Let them bring a discourse like thereunto, if they say sooth. 34 Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. 36 Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]? 37 Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest! 38 Or has He (Allah) only daughters and you have sons? 39 Or is it that you ask of them any recompense so that they should fear to be weighed down under the burden of debt? 40 Or, is the Unseen in their keeping, so they are writing it down? 41 Do they want to hatch some plot? Those who deny the truth will be the victims of the plot. 42 Or do they have a god apart from God? He is too exalted for what they associate with Him! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from the sky they would say: 'A massed cloud' 44 Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror: 45 and when their evil plans will be of no benefit to them nor will they be helped. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
