Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 till a known term decreed? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
