They question you about the Spirit. Say, "The Spirit is at my Lord's command, and you have been granted but little knowledge." 85 And if We willed We could have taken away the revelations which We have sent to you – you would then not find anyone who could advocate for you before Us for this. 86 But on account of mercy from your Lord-- surely His grace to you is abundant. 87 Say: 'If mankind and jinn combined together to produce the like of this Koran, they would never be able to produce one like it, not even if they were to help one another' 88 And indeed We have fully explained to mankind, in this Quran, every kind of similitude, but most mankind refuse (the truth and accept nothing) but disbelief. 89 They said: "We shall not accept your Message until you cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth; 90 Or [until] you have a garden of palm tress and grapes and make rivers gush forth within them in force [and abundance] 91 "Or you cause the heaven to fall upon us in pieces, as you have pretended, or you bring Allah and the angels before (us) face to face; 92 Or you should have a house of gold, or you should ascend into heaven, and we will not believe in your ascending until you bring down to us a book which we may read. Say: Glory be to my Lord; am I aught but a mortal apostle? 93
