Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
