O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We hasten in good works for them? No, they are not aware. 56 Surely those who tremble in fear of their Lord 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 who give, whatever they give in charity, with their hearts trembling at the thought that they are destined to return to their Lord; 60 those vie in good works, outracing to them. 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.) 62 But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing, 63 Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allah] for help. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 My revelations were recited unto you, but ye used to turn back on your heels, 66 Stiff-necked, discoursing thereof by night, reviling. 67 Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allah, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet SAW), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or do they say: There is madness in him? Nay! he has brought them the truth, and most of them are averse from the truth. 70 If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition. 71 Or, is it that thou askest of them any maintenance? The maintenance of thy Lord is better, and He is the Best of providers. 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus] 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77
