Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
