And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
