Surely, the cautious shall have Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 Should We treat those who submit and obey in the same way as those who are culpable? 35 What has happened to you? How do you judge? 36 Or have you a Book wherein you study? 37 Surely therein you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or have you oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection? Surely you shall have whatever you judge! 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 The Day that the shin shall be laid bare, and they shall be summoned to bow in adoration, but they shall not be able,- 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 So leave Me, (O Prophet), to deal with him who gives the lie to this Discourse. We shall draw them little by little (to their undoing) in a way that they will not know. 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Do you demand some recompense from them that would weigh them down with debt? 46 Or do they have knowledge of the unknown which they copy down? 47 But wait thou for thy Lord's decree, and be not like him of the fish, who cried out in despair. 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 But his Lord chose him for His own and made him one of the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 But it is not except a reminder to the worlds. 52
