In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 Some faces that Day shall be downcast with fear, 2 be toiling and worn-out; 3 Entering into burning fire, 4 They will be given to drink from a boiling spring, 5 They shall have no food except bitter dry thorns 6 Which will neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 (Whereas other) faces on that Day will be joyful, 8 Glad for their effort past, 9 In a lofty Paradise. 10 In which they will not hear any lewd speech. 11 In it is a flowing spring. 12 And within it are couches placed on high, 13 Goblets set, 14 cushions ranged, 15 And rich carpets spread. 16 Will they not then consider the camels, how they are created? 17 And at the Sky, how it is raised high?- 18 how the mountains are set firm, 19 And at the earth, how it is outspread? 20 Therefore do remind, for you are only a reminder. 21 You are not charged to oversee them. 22 However, those who turn away and disbelieve, 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 To Us is surely their returning; 25 In Our hands are their accounts. 26
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
