And recall what time thy Lord called unto Musa, saying: go thou unto the wrong-doing people. 10 the people of Pharaoh, will they not fear God? 11 'My Lord' he replied, 'I fear they will belie me 12 And I shall be embarrassed, and my tongue will not speak plainly, therefor send for Aaron (to help me). 13 They have charged me [with a crime] for which I am afraid they will kill me." 14 He said: Nay, verily. So go ye twain with Our tokens. Lo! We shall be with you, Hearing. 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" 17 The Pharaoh said, "Did we not bring you up in our home as an infant and did you not live with us for many years 18 And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful. 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 So I fled from you when I feared you, then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me of the apostles; 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?" 23 He said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between, if ye seek to be convinced. 24 Pharaoh said to those around him, "Did you hear?" 25 (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the beginning!" 26 [Pharaoh] said, "Indeed, your 'messenger' who has been sent to you is mad." 27 'He is the Lord of the East and the West' said he (Moses), 'and all that is between them, if you could understand' 28 Said Firaun, “If you ascribe any one else as a God other than me, I will surely imprison you.” 29 Said he: "Even if I should bring about before thee something that clearly shows the truth?" 30 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Bring it forth then, if you are of the truthful!" 31 So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent, 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white unto the beholders. 33
