Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
