The dwellers of the Thicket belied their Messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ "Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others). 181 Weigh your goods with proper balance 182 do not defraud people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not spread corruption in the land. 183 And keep your duty unto Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old. 184 They said: thou art but of the bewitched; 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 "So cause a piece of the heaven to fall on us, if you are of the truthful!" 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 In response they denied him – therefore the punishment of the day of the tent* seized them; that was indeed a punishment of a Great Day. (The clouds formed a tent and rained fire upon them). 189 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
