Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 'Taste! Surely thou art the mighty, the noble. 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
