Noah (Nooh)
28 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Bee (Al-nahl) before Abraham (Ibrahim)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
We sent Noah to his People (with the Command): "Do thou warn thy People before there comes to them a grievous Penalty." 1 [And Noah] said: "O my people! I am but a plain warner to you, [sent to tell you] 2 that you should worship God [alone] and be conscious of Him. Pay heed to me. 3 He will forgive your sins and will grant you respite until an appointed term. Indeed when Allah's appointed term comes, it cannot be deferred; if you only knew!” 4 Noah said, "My Lord, I have been preaching to my people, night and day, 5 but my calling has only increased them in flight. 6 And lo! whenever I call unto them that Thou mayst pardon them they thrust their fingers in their ears and cover themselves with their garments and persist (in their refusal) and magnify themselves in pride. 7 Then I invited them publicly. 8 and spoke to them in public and in private." 9 and I said: "'Ask your Sustainer to forgive you your sins - for, verily, He is all-forgiving! 10 He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers 11 and will aid you with worldly goods and children, and will bestow upon you gardens, and bestow upon you running waters. 12 "'What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in Allah,- 13 when He has created you in stages? 14 ‘Do you not see how Allah has created the seven heavens atop each other?’ 15 and placed therein the moon as a light and the sun as a torch. 16 And Allah hath caused you to grow as a growth from the earth, 17 and to it He will return you. Then, He will bring you forth. 18 And God has laid the earth for you as a carpet, 19 "'That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads.'" 20

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
