The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
