The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
