Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 And you are lost in play! 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
